Eco-Lodge
We are proud of our sustainability and low impact commitments.
Our lodge was built by village craftsmen using sustainable local materials. The roofs are thatched with Sri Lankan Iluk grass. All our doors, windows, beds and tables were made on site from either recycled wood or mala or teak sourced from sustainable forestry farms in Sri Lanka.
Our estate is a blend of organic tea and coconut and wild jungle. In the five years we have owned the estate we have never used a chemical fertilizer and have embarked on a programme to re-wilding many indigenous species of tree and fauna.
We are self-sufficient through our solar power and estate well-drawn water filtered to mountain spring clarity.
