We wanted to create a boutique lodge where a beach-side drink in the golden late afternoon sun could be followed with a sunset swim and dinner on top of the jungle canopy; a place where guests could be waking to the treetop dawn-calls of monkey and peacock, yet within minutes be catching the first waves of the Indian Ocean.

And so Tekanda Lodge was born – a beautiful eco-lodge set in the low hill country yet minutes from Sri Lanka finest beaches.
